Penn & Teller: Bullshit! Thanks to the On-Demand technology that I am currently in possession of in my home, I've been able to finally catch the third season of this amazing show. Only once in a long while does a television program come along that I can really relate to personally, and that show is Bullshit! Penn & Teller have a melded sarcastic comedy with factual commentary, much in the way of The Daily Show, but have managed to not ruin it with poppycock. I highly recommend Bullshit! to anyone that is looking for a different view on the world today.
Robert Anton Wilson's Prometheus Rising. In short, this book is Wilson's way of explaining how the human mind works. He takes the teachings of some of our well known historical 'lunatics', such as Aleister Crowley and Timothy Leary, and puts them all in one volume. After much explaining and many exercises, he hopes that the reader will have a better understanding of how to use their own mind. Whether it works or not, it is still a great read for the pseudo-intellectual in all of us.
Urbandictionary.com: Basically, Urbandictionary is an online dictionary where people, in a somewhat funny fashion, submit their own definitions for words. Under each word, there will probably be a fair amount of explanations, some slightly different... some extremely different. Most people will even give an example of how to use it in a sentence. A lot of it is what my mom called 'Toilet Humor', but I'm sure there is something for everyone. Don't quote me on that.
